Mission Statement

Our purpose is to GROW

devoted followers of Christ, who KNOW Him personally, and

SHOW His love relationally.

A Devoted Follower...

1. Has the Heart of a Obedience

A Lifestyle of Worship - Worship is more than a 1 hour a week ritual.  It is a daily life of obedience to Christ by loving God, loving others, and seeking to give God our best.

A Servant's Heart - Christ was the perfect example of a servant and it is our greatest joy is to serve others and help meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

2. Seeks the Mind of Christ

Devoted to God's Word - We have a WORD from God and since our Creator has revealed Himself to us through Scripture, we are accountable to follow His ways and His desire for our lives. Therefore, the Bible is our authority for belief and practice.

Dependency upon God - Prayer is a crucial key element to living a life of faith and it reflects our need for God's guidance, strength, wisdom, and power. We want to seek the LORD's will for our life, so that we can live abundantly, have HIS peace, and have the maximum impact in our world, so that He is glorified!

A Gracious Attitude - As followers of Christ, we are no better than anyone else.  We are only recipients of God's grace, which we did not deserve or could ever earn.  This grateful attitude must permeate every aspect of our ministry and be our greatest motivation for being stewards of God's resources.

3. Is aSteward of God's resources

Grateful Giver - We believe everthing we have comes from God and belongs to God.  We give generously to help others because we are grateful for how God has blessed us and given of Himself for us.

Investing in Family -  God's designed our lives for family relationships, and gave parents the vital responsibility for modeling a life of faith to their children.  Our role is to equip and resource parents for this task and offer supplemental instruction and activities to help families grow in their relationship with Christ.

4. Is a Witness ofGod's Grace

Global Mission's - We are ambassadors for Christ and we enthusiastically support cooperative missions with the SBC by encouraging every believer to participate in local and global outreach projects.  We can all pray, give, show and go.

What Values drive us to live out our faith?

Simple - Life is too complicated and too busy as it is, so everything we do must be simple to understand, simple to follow, simple to participate. We don't want to add more to people's lives, but rather teach them to integrate their faith into everyday life.

Relational - We desire to show hospitality to all we meet, opening our homes and lives to minister to people in real life situations. This was the focus of Christ and the practice of the early church, so we emphasize relationships because they have a lasting effect. We  desire to grow devoted followers of Christ through biblical LIFE Group experiences and one-on-one mentoring relationships, in order to equip believers to grow in their faith and invest themselves in others.

Enjoyable - Life is a great adventure, and we should explore the amazing beauty of creation and enjoy the good things in life. We believe God intended us to live fulfilling lives and we should celebrate the JOY we have in Him and in His blessings.

Biblical -     The Bible is our authority for belief and practice. See our Belief Statement at http://www.sbc.net/  and click on Baptist Faith and Message.

Reproducible  We believe in disciples who make disciples. We want to see everyone mature in their faith and mentor others. This is our model of discipleship/evangelism and allows our Small Groups to continue to grow and multiply, as new leadership is developed within the group.
